The Digital Transformation Panel at Government Transformation Summit will bring together some of the leading minds in government digital innovation to discuss four key themes: efficiency, strategy, delivery and digital access.
The panelists for this discussion are: Heather Cover-Kus, Head of Central Government at Tech UK; Sarah Ormerod, Programme Director at the Home Office; James Mitton, Director General for Enterprise Transformation at HMRC and Colin Shaw, Director of Service Transformation at the Ministry of Justice.
Discussion point one: enhancing government efficiency, is focused on reducing bureaucratic overheads by using digital systems to streamline processes, improving both speed and accuracy of delivery.
The second topic for discussion is defining a clear transformation strategy, focusing on creating a clear digital roadmap which is unified across departments and aligns with long term policy goals, budgets and stakeholder expectations.
Next, the panel will turn to future proofing public service delivery, keeping resilience in mind when developing digital services which are scalable and adaptable to future demands, emerging technologies and the evolving needs of citizens.
Finally, the discussion will cover ensuring inclusive and secure digital access, how we build digital platforms which maintain citizen privacy, cybersecurity and ethical standards whilst ensuring they are accessible to all demographics.
💡 Participate in this panel discussion and many others at the Government Transformation Summit (24 June, Church House Westminster). Registration is free for civil servants and local government executives.
