Cabinet Office appoints strategic delivery partner for digital transformation

The Cabinet Office has selected CGI as its Strategic Delivery Partner, in a five-year contract worth £100 million.

The initial three-year term, running to 27th February 2027, is valued at up to £60m; with two contract extension options, each of up to 12 months in duration, valued at up to £20m each. The Crown Commercial Service’s Technology Services 3 (TS3) framework was used for the procurement.

Working with the Cabinet Office Digital function, CGI will deliver a range of digital, data and technology services and products in support of Cabinet Office Business Units, enabling their digital transformation.

CGI was appointed in June 2022 as the Strategic Delivery Partner for the Home Office Department’s Police & Public Protection Technology Portfolio, where it committed to work through an ecosystem of small and medium sized enterprises. The same model will be used to deliver niche services in support of the Cabinet Office. The contract also includes the delivery of social value activities, such as hosting digital skills training courses for armed forces Veterans and women in tech events.
