We are inviting nominations for the Government Transformation 100 – celebrating the achievements of those making a significant impact in the fields of public sector Digital Transformation, Citizen Services, Data, AI, and Smart Places. Nomination deadline is 30 September 2025.


Whether you're nominating yourself, a colleague, or someone from your organisation, this is your chance to shine a light on those spearheading innovation at all levels of government. We’re seeking nominations for both established Thought Leaders and Rising Stars:

  • Thought Leaders: These are the proven, strategic leaders who have successfully delivered large-scale transformation or innovation within their area of expertise.
  • Rising Stars: Emerging talent who are showing exceptional promise, innovative thinking, and the potential to become the next generation of public sector leaders. 

Each category will celebrate 20 exceptional individuals: 10 Thought Leaders and 10 Rising Stars. We welcome nominations from individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, reflecting the broad diversity of talent and leadership in today’s UK public sector.

Categories for Nominations:

Digital Transformation
Who should nominate: Individuals leading the digital overhaul of public services, embracing new technologies to improve efficiency and service delivery. Whether you've transformed an internal process or reimagined the citizen’s digital journey, this is your platform to showcase progress.

Citizen Services
Who should nominate: Executives focused on improving the way citizens interact with public services. If you've redefined user journeys, improved service access, or have put the citizen at the centre of policy design, we want to hear about your work.

Data
Who should nominate: Data leaders harnessing the power of analytics, data governance, or insights to inform public policy, service improvement, or operational efficiency. Whether you're breaking new ground with data-led initiatives or ensuring transparency and accountability, this is your category.

AI
Who should nominate: Innovators using artificial intelligence to address public sector challenges. This includes those driving AI policy, embedding AI solutions, or experimenting with machine learning to solve real-world problems.

Future Places
Who should nominate: Visionaries transforming urban or rural spaces with smart technology to improve infrastructure, sustainability, or quality of life. From smart city projects to IoT initiatives, this category recognises those who are shaping the future of our places.
